What style of blind works best on a sliding glass door?
Zebra shades and sheer panel shades are the two we use most often on sliders. Zebra shades lift up and down, while sheer panels glide to the side like the door does. Your designer can show you both on your own door.
Will new blinds look right with the drapes I already have?
Yes, they usually look great together. Zebra shades and faux-wood blinds sit neatly inside the frame, and your drapes hang on either side. We bring samples so you can see the combination before you choose.
What should I put on the window over my kitchen sink?
Many homeowners choose plantation shutters or faux-wood blinds here because they're easy to wipe down. Shutters also let you tilt the light away from your eyes while you work at the sink. We'll look at the window together and talk through the options.
